Official Problem Statements
Teams participating in Girl Geeks 2026 must select only one of the following official use cases. Every project submitted throughout the programme must align with the selected problem statement.
AI-Powered Resume & Interview Coach
Problem Context
Students and early-career professionals often require personalized support to improve resumes, prepare for interviews, and build confidence for job opportunities. Traditional career guidance is often generic, expensive, or inaccessible. An AI-powered assistant provides fast, private, and personalized career guidance using on-device AI while ensuring user data remains secure.
Application Scenario
A student preparing for campus placements uploads a resume for analysis. The assistant evaluates the resume, suggests improvements for ATS compatibility, and conducts an AI-powered mock interview tailored to the student's target role. After the interview, it provides feedback on communication, confidence, technical knowledge, and recommends personalized learning resources.
Objectives
GeoAgentic Framework to Support Emergency Vehicle Movement
Problem Context
Urban traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, and unpredictable travel patterns significantly impact emergency response vehicles. Leveraging real-time GPS, traffic sensors, connected infrastructure, and spatio-temporal data enables intelligent routing and priority-based traffic management for faster emergency response.
Application Scenario
During an emergency response, an ambulance deviates from its planned route due to congestion or an accident. The system continuously monitors the vehicle, identifies the cause of deviation, predicts delays, recommends optimized alternative routes, and assists the control room in deciding whether another emergency vehicle should be dispatched.
Objectives
Important
Participants must choose only one of the above official use cases. Projects developed outside these problem statements will not be considered for evaluation. All submissions—including ideation, prototype development, documentation, and final presentations—must strictly align with the selected use case.

Participating colleges will conduct the programme internally with faculty coordination and student teams.

Maximum 5 members per team
Inclusivity
Minimum 50% girls in every team
IEEE Membership
At least one IEEE member required
CS Membership
At least one Computer Society member required
In-Person Learning Experience
Each participating college must conduct one mandatory workshop aligned with the Girl Geeks theme before the programme commencement.
Sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the IEEE CS Bangalore Chapter platform with coordination support wherever required.

Mentor Engagement Guidelines
Mentors are responsible for guiding and mentoring students throughout the Design and Prototype phases.
Each team will have 4 mentor meetings - 3 during the Design Phase and 1 during the Prototype Phase.
Mentor Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance, feedback, and support throughout the programme.
- Record Minutes of the Meeting (MoM) and assign actionable tasks after each meeting.
- Track team progress and coordinate with the Faculty Coordinator when required.
Evaluation & Selection
At the end of the Prototype Phase, teams will be evaluated based on their prototype by the Mentor and Faculty Coordinator.
One winning team from each college will be selected and will proceed to the Semi-Finals.
Communication
Any team-related updates, changes, or issues should be communicated to the Organizing Team.
